Tokyo Mew Mew DVDs, Now a Reality?, Could be real... Options

Saikano of MMPU forums have stated DVD of MMP are released and posted pics of Mew Mew Power DVD covers on the forums.

The pictures looked fake. However, the fact I never been to Australia or New Zealand and the fact the weblinks of those pics are linked to real companies can make the info plausible.

Can anyone confirm the truthfulness of this info?

That thread was posted back on July 14th, so this is rather old news.

And yes, they are real. The user Lacus-Chan provided pictures of the DVD menus.

Well, I do believe those two places were the only place the english dub of TMM was fully shown up to episode 26. Ratings might have also been high enough there to ensure they'd get money from a DVD release.

Your logic makes perfect sense. If they're only offered there, then they must not be real because Australia and New Zealand are simply LIES made up by the government! :0

I've done some checking, and they're legit DVD releases. Bargain price, too (AU$16.95 each, which is about £6.50 or US$13). You can buy 'em from DevotedDVD, who ship worldwide.

Things to bear in mind: they're Region 4 discs, so if you're outside Australia / New Zealand you'll need a multi-region player, and they're in PAL, which could be problems for folks in the US (where NTSC's the standard). PowerDVD and DVD Region Killer will let you play them on a PC with no problems, though.

I know this is pretty much a dead topic, but i just wanna say that Mew Mew Power did come out on DVD in Australia and New Zealand, but only the first 10 episodes came out on DVD. And I can say the DVDs are real for I own both of them. Also, ALL 26 dubbed episodes of Mew Mew Power did come out on DVD in South Africa. Those are real too. Lol i'm in the process of collecting all the volumes. The website I use is: www.kalahari.net cuz they sell internationally. But be careful, these DVDs are Region 2 and in PAL.
