[Grapefruit]

I recently finished watching the series and the OVA.

I was nervous about watching it at first, after all I've heard all about the graphic nudity (only on the top half though, no graphic nudity down below...) and the violence. But once I got into it I was amazed, and its now one of my favourite animes.

The violence might take you aback at first and certainly one person I know watched the first few minutes of episode 1 and decided they couldn't take it. But Elfen Lied isn't just about people having their heads sliced off, I found the storyline so sad, and I felt sorry for Lucy, Nana, Kouta and most of the characters by the end (espicially Lucy though ;.; )

Does anyone else like this anime? o.o

Up to when Kouta and Lucy kissed I understood all that, but then Lucy went back to the bridge and we saw the gunshots and her horn fly up into the air, so I thought she went to let herself die. Then at the end it could have only been her standing outside the door O.0;

Well I think she had foster parents OR her mother got re-married. Either way she had a peodophile father who sexually abused her.

No I don't think it said anything about Nana's past. All we know is that Kurama acted like her father and they did cruel tests on her ._.
